Tourist Information Center / Historic Train Station

Add to plan Remove from plan

This is the station where Muddy Waters boarded the train to Chicago. He sat in a segregated waiting room that later became a site of civil rights protests. Many years after the railroads brought industry here and transported thousands away in their Great Migration, it is now home to a new generation of local businesses and the headquarters for Visit Clarksdale.
